Go for it, Susan! My room used to have French doors, but I recently got them changed to double sliding barn doors. I didn't stick with leaving the natural wood or varnishing though. I had it painted black for a more dramatic effect instead.

Who said that barn doors can’t be applied in contemporary homes? They look cool and classic! They never go out of style that they can always be functional in any parts of your home. If I were you, I would really install one in my master bedroom!

Hi Susan, indeed! We like sliding barn doors it brings strong design element that adds a rustic, classic feel to our space. They are a great way to add personality and charm to our home. I've been working in an awning company.
